God has our back

Recently we’ve seen  that Nike signed Colin Kaepernick to be the face of their 30th anniversary “ Just Do It” campaign. This was huge given the fact that Kaepernick was not given a contract from the NFL since he took a knee to stand against injustice in America. I was disgusted to read about the different companies who are now boycotting Nike and those individuals who are burning their Nikes because Nike chose Kaepernick for their campaign. Clearly, they don’t believe and support Kaepernick’s mission because Black Lives Do Matter. I love how Nike is not moved by the backlash and they are doing what is right!  Kaepernick and Nike remind us that we need to stand up, speak up, support, and do what is right even if it means we will risk losing some friends, people, money, or things. God has our back and will never abandon or desert us. So in  the words of Colin Kaepernick, “ Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.” Just do it.
